But it’s a long assed way to get here!

Long enough to completely finish the June UFO Socks. I tried to take an artsy picture but it just wasn’t meant to be.

So…after hanging out a bit hugging people I haven’t seen in a year. Yes, I actually do hug some people that I’ve only been around a couple of times. It’s amazing – you feel like you’ve known them forever. I did take a couple of candid shots but decided not to post them. I didn’t do a very good job with them.
So we had dinner. There’s overlap, but you can see how big the group is.

And Cindy and Eileen are here. My first year at this session they were so warm and welcoming, it really helped me feel like I fit in. They’ve become favorites.

More diners.

Christy – we all love Christy.

The rest of the diners.

And the sweater wall.
I’ll photo more of these as camp goes along. Suffice to say – these are the sweaters you see pictured in EZ/Meg/Joyce books. They were knitted by them. They’ve been fondled lovingly by countless knitters over 34 years of camp. And every year, you come back for more.

For now, I’m going to call it a day. It’s been a long one, and I didn’t sleep well last night. I talked to Jim and the dogs are fine. They were in chairs snoozing, he was able to doctor Brandi’s feet by himself, and he didn’t bat an eye when I told him I’d already picked up two books. Of course, we had already talked about the fact I was going to.
Tomorrow – Knitting! Show and Tell! Fun! Friends! Meg! More Shopping!
Yaaaaawn…but that’s tomorrow.
Hi Linda! Hi Cindy! Hi Eileen! Hi Christy! Hi Campers!
(sob!)
I’m casting on for a baby surprise sweater tomorrow (Friday) morning . . . and I’ll be cooking from my Kitchen Table cookbook this weekend . . .
Miss you!
