Things are green. Allergies are active. We’ve had tornadoes, hail, and are awaiting our new roof (from hail this time). And I’m so glad winter’s over.
I was contacted a few days ago by a shop owner wanting to use the picture of my Indulgence Socks to show how the yarn knits up. I told her of course – but it reminded me I really needed to find them and finish. It’s such yummy, soft yarn it’s hard to resist. I had some space come available in my yarn room recently so I was doing a little organizing, and ran across them.
Today I finished.

They came out almost identical. Started a bit off in the color sequence, although I really didn’t care. Fraternal twin socks work for me.
Miss Boo is enjoying the new furniture.

Last week Rhett developed what appears to be the canine version of Bell’s Palsey. Doc gave him a pretty good look and we’re just watching him right now. One side of his lip is drooping, his eyelid and ear on that side droop too. More pronounced when he’s tired. But no change in behavior or appetite – in fact he’s feeling pretty good. He also pulled blood and everything looks great there.
And finally I started (yet) another project from the Swing, Swagger, Drape book. It’s the Miter Vee capelet. Mine’s (ready???) purple. I also got the kit I ordered from Jane when she was at GYC, and it’s going to be great fun to knit. Not something to work on when I can’t pay pretty close attention. And it’s definitely a fall/winter sort of knit, heavy wool.

Nature is running a show on Dogs and Cats….think that’s going to get my full attention now.
Gee, all that cold air conditioning the next few months should qualify as purple knitting weather!
Hugs to Rhett.
OMG I love those socks! I’d love to learn to knit socks but every time theres a class we always have something going on lol
