Knit Addict

Pat said it happened to his too, but it’s still somewhat disconcerting to see it in your own house.

Some kind of funky fungus or something. The other? The remains of the Duster.

I’m really enjoying the new laptop. It’s cutting into my knitting time which kind of stinks, but I’ll live. I have frequent help too.

So Saturday was the OKC Stitch N Pitch. We had a good time.

We left in the 7th because we needed to give Squeek her shot. Redhawks were down 7-3. Of course since we left they came back and won the game. That’s why we normally won’t leave a game early. Oh well - the cat is more important.

As usual the kids are having a tough day today.

Although Brandi has been scratching and foot chewing enough she finally went to the vet today. Apparently there are lots of dogs around with the same itchy issues. We’re just to keep the Benadryl going, and the numbing spray. Jeff also gave us some prednisone for the next few days. That should knock it out. As you can see that whole trip just really stressed her.

Since we had a knitting gathering outside in Oklahoma in August, I decided I needed something small and non-woolie to knit on. Started this simple sock out of Sockina Cotton. Obviously they’re knitting quickly. Only 48 stitches around.

And finally - another reassumed project. This is the Apres Surf Hoodie from the Summer IK. I actually started it on the way to Camp in the round, but kept dorking up the lace. Since it’s written flat, I just chose to rip it and start over. This is where I am.

I’m working through clue 2 for the SOTSiii. I’ll photo it when it’s a little further along.
