If you’re someone I’ve never heard of before and I’ve never received email from you, you’re going to get an answer to a pissy email demanding something that tells you to go through my contact point for your company.
If you turn around and say “I’ve talked to my sister employee name and to my cousin my bosses name and I want to know when this will be done” - chances are you’re going to be ignored.
No wait - you won’t be ignored, you’ll just be referred back to the original contact. I don’t give a flying flip if you’re related to my boss or not. An implied threat simply is not the way to get things done. Bitch.
