Knit Addict

Being wide awake at 5 am on a Sunday that is.  We’d been to breakfast, Target, washed and put away the new food storage containers, and the split pea soup was cooking before noon.  Although I have to say I’d rather have slept in at least a little.  Oh well, it will be easier to go to sleep tonight I guess.

Finished the baby blanket for Mom’s friend last night.  I started to ask Jim to mail it off for me, but realized I can just go down a flight of stairs to the post office and mail it myself from work… Things are just handy sometimes.

I’m really pleased with how it turned out.

Taught yesterday, baby booties in the morning and a bib in the afternoon.  Timing was perfect, I’ve decided to knit booties and a BSJ for the wife of the co-worker who’s due next month.  Had a great time as usual.

Last Sunday was the last installment of the seamless sweater for Guild.

Mine wound up a little long, but that’s OK.  It was cute, and will go to a good cause.

Knitting today on a helmet liner, then will switch to my Okie Monkeys(ies?).  Not sure why I put them down, but I want to finish them.  Also itching to work on the Swing Coat, but want to finish something else before I go back to it.  Every once in a while the UFO’s laying around get to me.  Not terribly often, but sometimes….

It looks nice enough outside, I think I’ll take the chair and go knit with the dogs for a while.  Enjoy your Sunday!
